Target Hope: a benefit tournament for Gawad Kalinga. Media a and Politicians competed against each other in a paintball tournament. The Media ended triumphant.The fun-filled event was held in September 2008.

Nestea Beach Volleyball: Many teams from various schools competed at Island Cove for the Luzon Leg tournament.

 Some twenty-seven contestants of the 2009 Miss Earth pageant visited Island Cove Hotel and Leisure Park on November 13, 2009 for a day full of activities. Among these were a press conference at Sangley Point Bar and Grill, a tree-planting activity at the Animal Island and a swimwear show at the Oceania Water Park.

The girls likewise competed for the title of “Miss Island Cove”. Miss Tonga, Mary Greatz garnered a 96% score and emerged triumphant in the competition.
